Valley Spirit Farm began in 2015 with the Fiechter and Monroe families’ shared vision of a two family, working farm. Joseph and Abbie Monroe and their children Ruth and Angus, manage a grass finished beef herd and a two acre vegetable garden. Caleb and Kelly Fiechter and their children Judah and Rebekah, manage a pastured/woodland pork herd and grow culinary mushrooms.
Farming the land is our life’s work and it brings us a deepening sense of joy. Our farm is a product of our family, community and neighbors. We are shaped by those around us. Thank you for supporting family-scale, working farms across Kentucky.
