What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship between a farmer and an eater. The consumer buys a portion of the harvest up front, providing the capital for seeds and other necessary inputs at the beginning of the season. These members receive a weekly share of the produce throughout the growing season. The benefits of a CSA are bountiful. Members receive the highest quality produce, foster a personal connection to their farmers, and directly contribute to their local economy.
